Our team is working to introduce support for many more file types.
The file size is limited to 20 MB for PDFs and 32 MB for all other file types.
Also, please keep in mind that files with more than 1,000,000 characters can’t be translated at the moment. If uploading the file takes more than 10 minutes, the process will be automatically canceled.
While in beta, you can translate and share as many files as you want.
Naturally, in order to prevent abusive usage of the service that may inconvenience other users, some limitations are in place.
Yes, they are. We take security and privacy very seriously.
The service runs under the Security Socket Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts all the communication between your browser and our servers. Also, every file translated with WOVN.files is encrypted at the storage layer with the AES-256 algorithm even before being written to the disc.
Files are retained in our servers for only 7 days and completely wiped out after that period.
WOVN.files is also GDPR-compliant.
